Funny how making something natural (smiling when laughing), unnatural by removing the obvious from the scene (not smiling during laughing) works for the scene, not against it. In this scene from Dinner with Schmucks, Zach Galifianakis stays in the same pose for the laugh - unnatural, and doesn't smile during laughing (or tries to) -unnatural. Im working on a subtle dialogue shot with laughter, and came across this. Thought it was funny reference.
